About me
Academic background and legal practice
I am Martín Jesús Urrea Salazar, a lawyer and Doctor of Law from Rey Juan Carlos University, holding a prior law degree from Complutense University of Madrid. Accredited by ANECA as a Tenured Lecturer in Private International Law, I completed my legal and postgraduate studies at both universities.
As a lecturer, I have held academic positions at Complutense University of Madrid, Rey Juan Carlos University, Carlos III University, and the International University of La Rioja.
I am the author of several books and articles on International Trade Law and Private International Law, and a member of various national and international professional associations.
From the very beginning, legal practice has been a fundamental part of my career. I have extensive experience providing legal advice in commercial law, international contracting, arbitration, and dispute resolution, serving both companies and individuals. I have also developed a strong practice in civil and international family law, offering tailored legal solutions in cases of divorce, annulment, custody, and succession with cross-border elements.
My professional approach combines academic rigor with a practical and strategic vision, focused on the prevention and effective resolution of disputes in an increasingly globalized legal environment.
